Now that's a worthy cause

What an excellent idea! The British Humanist Association is putting secular adverts onto buses in That London to counter all the threats of hellfire and damnation from religious advertising. Huzzah!

Where has all the smack gone?

Via Internet Jesus, I came across this report that Afghanistan is producing more than double the world demand for heroin, but nobody knows where it is going and there are in fact shortage in some places.

I suppose that should capitalism fail catastophically (or some other momentous disaster afflict civilisation) that heroin would make a bloody good barter currency in the same way that snout does in prison. So could be that somebody is stockpiling smack as a resource in case of a CIVILISATION FAIL EVENT ...
