Whoever wrote this bit of bumfluff has the brains of a Heat reader. Not only can they not spell "Dalek" but the they also write of Kylie Minogue:

The pop star, who flirted with acting in the 1990's with a number of film roles following her breakthrough role in the 80's on Neighbours.

So being a jobbing thesp since 1976 counts as "flirting with acting". Pillock.
