The day before this became public I sold my iMac (1Ghz 17" flatscreen version) on eBay for 710 quid.

The proceeds from that sale will build me a nice PC. I was burned a bit too much by my iMac to even think about buying apple again for a while.

What's the betting that all sorts of wonderful hardware issues crop up in the first couple of months of use?
