Bernard Manning is a fat, obnoxious, bigoted, northern cunt who is famous for his racist routines (often performed to the Metropolitan Police, apparently). An old-school comedian with old-school attitudes to immigration and foreigners in general, Bernard likes to racially abuse and humiliate any non-WASP who is foolish enough to be in his audience.

No longer in favour due to the fact that he's a lard-arsed hatemonger, he was last seen on the Mrs. Merton show where he lambasted Richard Wilson and generally showed himself up as a deeply insecure and desperately unlikeable shitbag. Which is probably why he eats so many pies.
